🌿 Hong Kong Distillery Eco‑Upgrade Project

Sustainably produced soap made from locally recycled wood — including pine, cypress, camphor, Christmas tree, longan, lychee, and Formosan acacia.
These woods are distilled into wood vinegar (pyroligneous acid), then blended with food‑grade olive oil and coconut oil, and aged for 30 days to create a mild and nourishing soap.

About Wood Vinegar

Wood vinegar contains 200 + natural compounds, including acetic acid, organic alcohols, esters, acetals, ketones, and formic acid — with acetic acid making up about 50% of the total composition.
The refined liquid ranges from golden amber to dark brown in color.

High‑temperature carbonization of 100 tons of wood over 3 days produces the initial wood vinegar, which is then settled, fractionally distilled, filtered, and purified to obtain a premium concentrate.

Limited Production

Due to its complex crafting process and slow aging cycle, output is small and quantities are limited.
Each bar represents the effort to upcycle local resources and support Hong Kong’s eco‑innovation.
